The Alumina 2018 Secretariat has confirmed rooms in selected hotels for the benefit of Conference delegates. The hotels have been selected for their proximity to the Conference venue and you are encouraged to secure your accommodation through the Conference Secretariat to ensure that you receive the negotiated competitive rates.

Rooms are limited and are on a first come first served basis.

Rates are only available for 8 – 14 September 2018 inclusive. Nights outside these dates can be requested but cannot necessarily be guaranteed at the same rate.

If you are contacted by any other company or agency offering accommodation for Alumina 2018, please note that these companies are not authorised to represent Alumina 2018 in any way, nor do they have access to the officially contracted room blocks or rates.

Imitation sites and agencies invite meeting participants to supply their personal details including credit card information, in return for a promise to provide travel and accommodation. Please be aware that these unauthorised companies might not deliver what they promise, and in fact may not deliver anything to the meeting participant at all despite charging the credit card.

Cancellations & Amendments

Cancellation of Booking
Hotel guests will be subject to the cancellation policy of their nominated hotel. Please refer to the cancellation policy outlined for your preferred property.

Time Limits
We encourage delegates to book accommodation well in advance because hotels impose strict release dates for block accommodation bookings. All rooms are released 30 days prior to the meeting and therefore accommodation bookings requested after Friday 10th August 2018 cannot be booked through the registration portal and will need to be secured by delegates through the hotels directly.

A credit card is required to complete the booking process, even if the card will not be used to pay for the accommodation.

Either one night's accommodation rate or a credit card is required to secure your room. Delegates are required to settle their own accounts including incidentals incurred upon check out. This deposit or your credit card guarantee will be forwarded onto the hotel. The hotel will deduct the guarantee from your credit card at their discretion.

Amendments to Booking
Amendments to accommodation including hotel preference, check in/out dates and room type will only be accepted in writing to Encanta Event Management.

Early Arrival or Late Departure
